Default Making a hole in your Xmod, made easy.

Ever wanted to put a hole in your hood or other body peices? Well I made a tut and it's really simple. Hope you guys find it useful. I'm not responsible for any damge to your Xmod or you.

I relise there are many other ways, but they could burn you, or cut yourself bad. Mine is just a injure free tut, well that is if you dont be stupid and cut your hand with the blade or drill a hole in your hand

Step 1.

What you need.

Xmod body (if doing hood)
Part being cut
Xmod Drill or any drill
screwdriver
File
Exacto knife or something you can cut with.

Step 2. Only needed if your doing it on the hood, but I recommend making a line of what your cutting out, so you know where your cutting.
Flip your body over. Can you see the underside of the hood through the hole in your body? Well take a screwdriver and go along the edge of that hole. Make sure you can see it.

Step 3
Make 4 holes at the corner of your part. Do not drill right on the line. Drill about 1 mm from the line. Drill it like mine, it's not just about touching the line.

Step 4
Start drilling along the line, but not touching it like before. Dont drill the holes too far from each other, or else your blade wont be able to cut through with ease. The top part of the hood is driller bad becase 1, the holes are too far apart 2 the holes are past the line. The bottom is what you want

Step 5.
Take you blade and cut through the holes so they join together.

Step 6.
Pop it out, shouldnt be too hard. Start filing all the way down to the line.

Step 7 [Optional Step]
Once you filled it, clean it up a little. Get some plastic that your Xmod upgrades come in. Cut some plastic out and make sure it fits the hole. Make it bigger, you can always make it smaller. I like mine closed, but you can leave you open for cooling to the motor, and yes it makes a big difference.

Step 8
Test fit it, then cut it down. I've already done this, so mine fit good.

Step 9
Put it on the car and screw it on. Apply a bit of force so it pushes the hood down.

Step 10
Show it off. I've done this to a few places on my own car, and it looks great and cools off the FETs. Not to mention, this mod saves A LOT of weight. Well atleast for an Xmod.

Thanks for reading and any questions, just ask!
