Well right they are taking a feature used for launching and driving around with it on.... They have a computer that converts power front to back and left to right, turning off that regulation, probably going balls out driving it around town to pick up trim...and they are ****ed when they break something? I mean come on, quit crying already.
Rev that Vette up to 9-10K rpms and see what breaks on it. Take
anything in the world out of design intent and it is going to break. There is a reason it has paddle shifters.
Even a computer car, needs the driver to be on key, or you'll end up doing something stupid. You can pick and pull whatever detail you want, and exploit every achilles heel of the car, but it is only because you are intimidated by it and it's impact on your baby.
