Its an attempt to steal the Wii owners away by making the live interface more user friendly, there's going to be tons of games and fun stuff for the younger kids to do when this is released to everyone so xLive won't just be about going online and killing your friends in a team deathmatch....
I was hoping to get this as I got the email about it but no such luck so I'm still waiting to be prompted for the download....
