the main benefit is you get to ditch the cheap folding tx and use a hobby grade
tx. the one that comes with the rpmz is decent compared to the foldy one but,
i use the futaba 2pl for mine, it is computerized and has e.p.a. and 10 model memory.you cant use a hobby grade tx with the stock xmod pcb.
i haven't tested the limits of the mosfets yet but it pushes the stage2 motor better than the stock unit did.
as far as specs are concerned, like i said i haven't found the info on the mosfets but they are 8938 for the steering and the motor if anyone cares to investigate.
as far as lipo's i'm not sure. i run on a rcp track and lipo's are a little overkill for my purpose.i use the xmod to race against miniZ ma-010's. my miniZ club races 2wd(mr-02) and awd(ma-010) i have a mr-02 but no ma-010 so they let me use the xmod. it's no miniZ but it's better than standing around and watching other people race. once and a while the modified xmods get the best of the miniZ's.
