this is a good point but on the flip side,....this is a classic example of how rice was born.
kids get a first car and start throwing crap on it to make it "cool" instead of driving it as is (spending money only to keep it running)while saving for something that already is cool.

a tib is a decent car but it isn' worth sinking a bunch of money into it.

cherish that fact but don't forget that it is what it is.
if you want fast then work hard and save up for fast.
if you want cool then work hard and save up for cool.

there's been a bit of talk about turd polishing and none of it's correct...

not calling the tib a turd...lol... but there's no reason to dump a ton of money into it.

my suggestion would be to drive the hell out of it and save for school like ping pong( or as they say in chinese,"ping pong") said, get a job and save for what you REALLY want.
