Quick Update:

I'm trying to figure this out, but the Clear Coat did something funky to it. Looks like I have to mask and sand some areas down and respray. It's weird though, the clear coat caused the orange to retract in some areas and cause the white mid-coat to show around the body lines. The worse part is the passenger side door, the rest of it is thin areas.

Well I hand painted most of the details and was looking around at some decals in a Nissan model kit I had, luckily for me it has some small photo-etched decals. Enjoy the update, I'll prolly be a few days to clean up the white spots.

The Original spray of the clear coat looked beautiful.

You can start to see the white lines.

=/ I wish i knew why the clear coat did that to the paint. I guess I'll sand the door/small areas, repaint and wait on the clear coat.

Painting some more details in.

Photo-etched Decal with normal "Nissan" decal. These things were really small for my big hands, but not bad for my first attempt at Decals.

Trying to show the "Flat to Gloss to Flat" black transition.

Again, more white lines, more details painted.

My Fairlady.
