on the drivers' side, the rear dender flare starts too high. look over your reference pictures again to see if you can spot what i'm talking about. don't worry about it looking bad now. most projects start out looking pretty bad, so don't fret that your puttywork isn't like Dr. Kustom's (he's a genetically enhanced bodywork specialist). for mere mortals like us, your direction seems to be on the right track. I do suggest trying to use alternate materials like styrene sheets because it's slightly easier to make shapes from and stronger. putty would still be neccesary, but you'd use those on the seams of the styrene to smooth it out rather than using it as the main build-up material
