Locktight or threadlocker is more efficient than tape. It comes in a bottle or tube and is relatively cheap found at many hardware stores... even hobby stores. You want the blue type, you put a small drop on the metal axle thread, then screw on the locknut. It should never come off until you undo it. You should use threadlocker or locktight on all metal-to-metal contacts, like when using GPM parts.
