If the bankruptcy works out right, GM can force the gov't out of it's business with stock. Gov't went buying stock instead of other means to seemingly be able to have some control, but no liability. So, the ties are loose, IMO
****ty situation. Chrysler won't survive with Fiat though, even europe loaths fiats, their unreliable and poorly built there too. That's what the european blog commentors claim.
