Just a thought from the blooming engineer in my head... but if you need to lower the board more... how about installing the top CF plate under the holes they're bolted to now... looks like you could lower the plate and board by w/e the thickness of the motor cradel and front gearbox is.
EDIT: actually, you could lower it till you touch the AA cells, then just use spacers on the screws/bolts
