Don't forget Traxxas. I got a friend into nitro who has little large scale rc experience. He is a great driver for a beginner and runs a Traxxas Nitro Stampede like me. It is only RWD and only goes a little over 35mph on a TRX Pro.15, but let me tell you...they are a blast to drive. For me, nitro is also $22 a gallon of 20% by Trinity. Exceed RC is junk IMO. If snowboi1289's Pull stater ripped off that easily, than you know it is junk. I use EZ Starting system and it works great for me. I personally would recommend Traxxas, Losi, or AE.
Stay Away from Megatech, and Exceed RC.
