Thought I'd share this code with thse of you who want to use a different esc, motor, and other misc electronics in your xmod. BP Hobbies sent me a coupon code in an email today:

This is the company I got my geared airplane motor from, the one that runs my new xmod monster truck (you've seen the video of it in action from my thread in the mod section). I was thinking of going one step further and trying some of their helicopter brushless motors and esc's, but funds are low right now. maybe something like this:

I've already got the lipo battery installed (as you've seen in my video), and i have a new transmitter that should work. I'd just need a tiny receiver, and figure out how to hook up the stock steering servo to this esc...

Anyway, if someone else finds a better deal on electronics, let me know. I'm always willing to try new mods!!! In the meantime, maybe someone else wanting to go full custom will find this coupon useful.
