Gen 1 fet question
 

I was thinking of attempting to stack my fets on my gen 1 car and was wondering can i do a stack of 2x3 or more on my car because alot of the high current motors require a higher stack of fets.

a 2x3 will barely fit, it sits about level with the bottom of the chasis after you cut the alumunim heatsink and plastic underneath the car. a 2x4 stack will stick out of the bottom of the chassis which is bad because it reduces your cars clearance and may break the fet stack from the board if it gets hit hard enough.

has anyone done a 2x3 or 2x4 stack on a gen one car??, because on atomicmods it says on the gen 1's anything above 2x2 it stutters under heavy acceleration.

isnt the best motor they got -the z2 only require 2X2
