Headphone Recomendations?
I'm looking to buy a pair of headphones for like $30. In or on ear, but not the big Skullcandy Hesh/Skullcrushers. Have the Hesh, and while I love the volume and Bass, they're a bit bulky and akward for walking around campus with.
Anyone have any particular headphones they recomend that have good bass? If it matters for anything, I'm listening to rock with these. Thanks. |
well i got my $40 headphones from wal mart, its the sony extra bass in ear headphones, they have the same thing for on ear too,
they r really good, i listen to trance/techno and im impressed at what these things do im on my itouch ill get the model number in a few and edit this post |
i personally like apples earphones.. they are pretty baller.. but id much rather have skull candy and stuff..
|
If you like Skullcandy (I loooooove Skullcandy...) and don't want to spend too much, you can't go wrong with the Ink'd earphones they have.
The bass is amazing, as well as the highs and mids. There I think $18 at Target, $20 everywhere else. Don't get the Smokin' Buds though. They are $10 more than Ink'd and I thought naturally they would be better. Their horrible. |
i got some at walmart for $10. i think that they are pretty bassy and deep. they are like ear toxic or something, they are in ear. black and red with an atomic sign on them and they come with different sized earbuds.

Honestly, Sweed, since you have had Skullcandy before, I would not recommend getting something other than Skullcandy again.
If bass is one of main concerns, then stick with the brand. The bass is soooo much better than any other pair I've used. |
deffinentaly stick with skull candy i have the ink'd black ones and they are amazing i have been looking for good bass noise canceling and they are by far the best. they last long to
|
I got some skullcandy in ear ones and i think they are great. I got mine for $10 from tj max. I listen to rock on mine and they do exellent. Ive had them for maybe 9 months, no problems.

We should have a Skullcandy Appreciation Club. |
Skullcandy Ink'D are pretty awesome, bass wise.
Sony MDR-7506 Professional are just boss. I have both and I keep getting new Ink'd ones because their so inexpensive and get the speaker blown very easily imo. If you ever get those two, then you'll have one of the best combos ever. |
I've got some Koss Sparkplugs. Bass is pretty **** good, but the only problem is that the mute button tends to be screwy after a while. So my reccomendation is to get the Sparkplugs at RS (they're around $18 on sale) and then get the warranty so you can keep returning it if the mute button keeps being screwy.

I used the Koss ones, and went through 2 pair.
The bass was amazing, until I heard Skullcandy... But, the mute buttons ****ed me off too much, I ended up cutting the wires, and removing the button, and re-soldering the wires back together. After a while, the solder broke, so I just got a new pair... |
I just picked up a pair of Sony MDR-V150's, 18 bucks at Death Of America. About to watch Pulse, feedback on them soon.
|
I hate skullcandy headphones, i went through like 3-4 in 2 months, they are just horribly made, and i didnt think they sounded that great, i would go with Sony or Bose headphones.

All of the ones I've owned (Ink'd, Smoking Buds, Skullcrushers, and Icon & Recruit) have all held up to my abuse, and still work fine. The only ones that don't work completely are the Ink'd ones, but its only one ear that doesn't work. The left one works, but the other one was dropped in Kool-Aid... wtf. |
INK'd and Smokin Buds, the Smokin Buds are the worst Ive ever bought...each pair I had either one side of the headphones would stop working or where the headphone plugs in would kinda break/fall apart.
And now I have some Sony headphones that were 10$ cheaper and sounds wayy better and have been working for months...Skullcandy has really nice DJ headphones though. But that's about it |
Just seems to be your luck..
A few people I know have Ink'd and love them, they work perfect. I plan on getting the PS3 headset they make, soon. |
