has anyone seen one on the road yet?
about a wek ago me and my wife went furniture shopping in upchuck(north charleston) and we followed a new camaro down the interstate for a mile or so.
dealer plates,mullet driving......
then the traffic broke up and he floored it!
i was in the 4.3 cruiser and floored it to try to keep pacebut i let off at 100MPH and he disappeared.

coming back from buying the furniture i saw the same mullethead driving a new challenger R/T.
i guess he was test driving both.
i wonder wich he went home in.......
i think i would have opted for the maro.
what about you???

I saw one last week, didn't get a good look at it, because he was driving the other way.


On a side note, I found this rendering of the "Steampunk Kamaro." I think I just found the inspiration to do something with that bumblebee body I have lying around.:nod:

They're like flies on s**t in my area. (Southeast PA) I've seen 4 yellow, 2 black, and a really cool deep burgundy red. The Challengers are the same way here. Bzzzz..... I would have to go with the Challenger. I think GM tried to hard, they tried to incorporate to many styling cues. Chrysler used one...1970 Challenger.

I saw one in update New York heading in the opposite direction, dark green color looked very sexy no idea on trim...

Challengers are everywhere around here.... all the rich old Italian ex-mafia members drive those and SuperSnakes....

Have the occasional Charger SRT-10.... now those are hot...

I've seen 3 and IMO they look fugly. They look better in pics then they do in real life.

There's a black and a gun metal one here in my neighborhood, 1 for sure a V6 and the other sounded like a V6, both stick shift too.

Flippin mean in person, proportions and all work well in any angle.

Skylinedriver- GM only used one, the '69 Camaro. There is nothing else in it.

i have yet to see one in person but i hope its not as big as the challenger....

i was the biggest 10 camaro fan ever until i played with one in person. the "vents" before the rear tires are just fake stamped depressions in the metal, the interior looks really cheap, it just doesn't look as impressive in person, i would take the G8 over the camaro, honestely. oh, and the engine bay is fugly, on the V6 anyways.

You know on the original 69 the side gills were stamped too...

Plus, a few minutes with a sawz-all :)

I think that they're huge and remind me of all of the GM trucks.

The design is nice, but they should of kept the size similar to the ones generations back.

Theyre right in Pa (Southwest for me) i see like 5 or 6 different chargers or camaros or challengers. but supersnakes we follow those in out mustang. but theyre decent looking cars. even though nothing can compare to badass american muscle.

So far I have only seen one and it was an orange one at a car wash. But I see alot of the challengers and srt chargers. Yesterday there was a car show at Mcdonald's and there was 15+ chargers and a few challengers it was insane.

i have seen a few as well as the new challenger, i think they are fugly.

my dealership got a black v6 auto in. They jacked the price up to 47 grand, and put a NOT FOR SALE sign in the window. Dealership display only. because they didnt wanna sell it. but they let me test drive it. for the small motor and a auto, it was pretty **** spunky.

They sold it the next day....
I hope that poor sap didnt really pay the 47k sticker price they put on it.

I've got plans to be dropping in my pre-order here in a few months when they open them up for the 2011 convertibles :)

That DOHC 3.6 is a sweet little motor. They've had no problems with them in the CTS yet at all.

i take back what i said earlier......this morning i woke up flipped through the channels, then hear the doorbell ring and i think its my cousins mom. then my dad goes back to his room and i swear i hear him utter the words 'new camaro'. so i get up and see whats up and there it is......a brand new camaro. it was an SS too. so my assupmtion is that my cousins mom is using our driveway for a place to park since the church yard is full. it looks a helluva lot betterin person. heres some pics....

Haha I was just at DD and saw a brand new Silver with Black hood stripe SS Camaro.... I parked the Stang next to it hoping to get into a conversation with them, went in ordered my coffee turned around to take a photo and it was gone... I have to say that for an SS I am surprised at how quiet it was....

I saw a Red RS! FTW!

I agree. Pictures didn't do these cars any justice. I wouldn't knock on them until you have actually seen one. I seen an orange one with black stripes and it was beautiful. It also had some sort of "lip kit" (looked factory, not like one of those Ebay kits) on it that made it look even better.
