If it looks like that it should be pretty nice. Nice choice on the flowmasters too. And ebay isn't always bad about buying cars that where I got mine but then again it was like 20 minutes away from my house so we went and looked at it first.

That's a Tahoe pretty much right? I have never heard of a Silverado Blazer.

Anyways, the FloMasters are going to sound great, but if you're looking to get power out of them.. don't expect anything.

They are one of the worst for gaining power with.. they are not the masters of flow at all.

i've never liked that year for that truck. i love the early 90s silverados, though. well, i guess it does have great potential for a lot of stuff. are you planning on making it a trail rig, swamper, or crawler?

Dude, the only difference between the early 90's trucks and this one is the headlights. The newer ones are one piece and the older have two headlights on each side.

This is an early 90s truck...

It's not a silverado, it's a 2-door Tahoe/K5 Blazer. Sweet trucks with a lot of value.

Factory, no, not at all. From the factory in 1992 it's just a straight GM engine. Edlebrock offers crate engines that are a warmed over 350. You'd have to find the reciepts to prove it though, if the motor was replaced at any point.

wadethejuggalo 05-05-2009 08:26 PM

see tex thats the problem the guy we got it from had no idea about anything on the truck. The flow masters went put on cause the shop ordered the worng thing so me and my dad are gonna put on different ones. Have no clue which kind. (I will get pics up tomorrow) But also it has a badge on the colum next to the door that says silverado and the back says blazer and it has a side badge thats says SS-350 but thats not the stock engine we have an edelbrock, ill get pics of that too

sorry for the double post but pics have been added

AeroSynch 05-06-2009 03:46 PM

Is it 4WD? I can't tell, perhaps the shifter on the floor is the 4WD one and the standard one is next to the steering wheel?

looking at the pic it looks like someone slapped some edlebrock v/c on a factory small block and painted every think orange. If it was a edelbrock crate it would have edlebrock aluminum heads, and I doubt the original owner would have reinstalled the smog pump.

are there any kind of stamps on the block i could see if it is not an edelbrock or not a stock engine??

edit- yeah i think you are right look
