hey guys, im finally starting to get into the electronics plart of me xmod(evo/street) and am so confused on what to do! i read "electronics explanation" and still kinda scratch my head.....

what i plan is the chilli motor, lithiums and beefed up awd(ball diffs, carbon shaft/gears etc....) but dont know if i should just stach fets, get the v2, nellie etc....

could you guys school me?whats the easiest?best?

Well with the chilli motor you need atleast a 2x3 fet stack. But it is highly reccommended if you go Lith you use a V2.2 regulated board instead. I have done this exact setup and that's what works best.

for a chilli, or any other motor in that range you really need a nelly, v2, etc...
only way to do it.

for anything else, just do a 2x2 stack of fet's and you'll be great.

but you should really just stick with lithiums to start with. IMO lithiums on a stage 1 motor is plenty fast for me. it already causes major damage to your body hitting a wall at full speed. but to each their own, some im sure like them even faster yet. me personally. ill never even dream about owning a chilli, its over kill for my taste.

try the lithiums first. then after your use to that and think u want more. then worry about upgrading more.

Yeah if you go to Atomicmods.com and read the description of the motors you will find some that don't need a fet stack. But mostly with Lith you need at least 2x2. The chilli with liths and no V2 or nelly requires a 2x3 fet stack.

Yeah I never heard of that. I do believe a BEC is the same as a V2 (don't quote me on that) and you can get those anywhere online.

Don't even waste your time with the turbos from XI. They are a rip, they don't do anything. Also can you believe they are selling XMod Street series kits for $99.99. They are garbage ripping off kids around the world, I despise those douch bags.

Yeah those are fine (from what I hear) but I would never buy any of their crap. The V2.0 (which is so named to trick kids to think it's like a AM V2.2) is just a compasitor and it does absoluly nothing and I thought we alll figured that out like 3 years ago and they are still selling them. It's sad, and Like I said I would never buy ANYTHING from them even the speder V3 or whatever. Atomicmods is very reliable good honest people, some of their prices are a bit high but you get a solid product, not JUNK someones pushing as upgrades.

They Don't Have XModStreet kits in the UK. Thats Why. Arent the V3/4 used in Mini-T's? I've done some bisiness with XI. Pretty Fast + Good. The price makes up for the fast shipping

if you don't want to buy the spider (Hey 3X, it's Spider...as in the 8 legged thingy) at XI, then you can buy it at ausmicro. just search it up
the ultimate spider is called the bug v1.0, which is like the stacked version of the spider v4.0

xxx xi's kits are so expensive cuz in the uk the dont have street yet, and all the other kits are discontinued and nib.

Find ph2t and get a stacked nelly.
Then find Performance Xmods and get a X-2 Light Speed Motor.

PX has gone out of business, and ph2t...idk he might have a few still left.
if someone here can get the specs of the X-2 lightspeed, like the winds and gauge wire, the armature type, the comm type, and the can type, then i guess redsx could make one. but patternwound > machine wound
i might be able to if the comm is one that i have, but most likely, i won't have the right comm

he used to have 2 stores on his site. us store and uk. one in usd and one in lbs. now its one combined store, and free shipping worldwide. and he does business world wide, 34 countries and counting. so shipping is figured into the price. which is why they are 99.00 and he has to make some money from the sale too. can't just give things away.
as for the consumers i would say his top 3 markets are us, uk, and german. so its not just based on us here in the u.s.

Um, as far as Spider vs. V2 vs. Nelly. They say the V2.2/V2 will burn if used for extended periods or hot motors, and that's why ph2t created the Stacked Nelly... The spiders I don't know much about.
