Expedition Pajero 1/10

It is finally here, sort of. I don't have pictures of the build process since it was done when I was moving and had no internet, but here are some pictures before I paint it and what I am going for.

Here is what I wanted to go for, and exactly how I am painting it; white with the fenders and bumpers black:

With lights:

Roof rack and accessories thanks to RCH Blackfoot:

Four link on the front, works great.

Rear has leafs, but will be changed to a 4 link also:

The paints:

Flex Shot:

After priming:

So I just have to paint it, and secure the body since it is only sitting on the chassis, and work some minor details out, like the major rubbing on the front, and electronics neatness.

Hope you like it so far.

awesome, did you make the chassis or did you buy them? anyways, nice

Thanks man! I'm painting this weekend, so I'll update it.

Here are the specs:

TLT Axles
MFM Racing Chassis
Axial AX-10 Transmission
Futaba 3PM
Futaba S3003 Servo
Hilux Wheels and Tires
Tamiya Mitsubishi Pajero Body
LRP ESC

AeroSynch 07-25-2008 12:21 PM

I changed out the leafs and made a 4 link for the rear.

So I got the electronics mounted up, and since it is 4WD now, it is finally a runner. I had to shorten the driveshafts by .25" on both of them to accommodate the wheelbase and transmission placement. I also am going to make a mount for the transmission out of styrene. Do you like my GhettoCAD skills?..
It has nice flex for a scaler.

Very nice looking.

What sort of chassis/frame rails is that? Looks like some sort of one-size-fits-all

AeroSynch 07-25-2008 12:41 PM

Thank you.
It is an MFM Racing Chassis. Yup, one size fits all.

that thing kicks *** holy crap i super uber envey you!!!! **** i want that thing

JDMDUDE 07-30-2008 12:32 AM

man that looks really good

noturday 07-30-2008 01:58 AM

looks amazing dude, almost too good to get dirty haha, but 1 suggestion if i may, you should either move the spare tire in the roof rack to the rear, or get another tire/wheel like the one in the roof rack to put on the rear. i think it would look better with more than just a wheel cover on the back of the truck. great setup though, wish i had one like that

AeroSynch 07-30-2008 09:34 AM

Thanks for the comments guys. They paint job is pretty sweet right? :D
It was painted with car paint by Steel Breeze Customs in Ft. Lauderdale, so he was really close to me.

texan_idiot25 07-30-2008 11:11 AM

That is a freakin' excellent paint job.

AeroSynch 07-30-2008 11:33 AM

Yea. I really like it. It's all thank to Steel Breeze Customs. :bigwink:
Very shiny.
