Nice! Don't you have a TLT too? I was thinking of getting into crawling, maybe over the summer after I get my plane.
cool did you make yourself, welding and all
Yeah I also have a TLT rig. Yes I mig welded it all. Built this on the fly, no plans. Cut the bottom plates out and mounted them on the skid and just went from there. The reason the top bars are sitting on top of the window frame is so it is 3 3/4" tall! Makes it legal! Gotta put the front axle together and get a bunch of parts!
wat d'ya mean legal, care to elborate, and are you gonna use the wheels the whole time?

looks kinda heavy
Those are 2.2 rims. With the tires on they will be like 5 1/2" tall. And whats heavy hurt? It's gonna have a lathe motor moving it.
is that dig I spot or is that just a 2 speed tranny I cant tell it looks like rear dig.
Are you going to put a brushless motor in it like Donziikid did?
Yeah that is a rear dig and i am running a brushed motor. 55 turn Integy lathe.
Dam, A lathe motor,
Haha, Cant wait too see it in action, Looks hard too make. |
45 or 55 turn lathe motor? The 65 and 75 turn lathe motors are just overkill in my opinion.
Looks cool. I'll check it out further when I'm not on a laptop. ;) |
