My New Bike
 

I recently bought a new bike and just thought I'd share it with y'all. Its a Haro V3 and so far has been upgraded with Avid BB7 Disk Brakes. I haven't installed the cables for the brakes yet. Next upgrade will be clip pedals that are clip one said and regular on the other so I can use regular shoes or bike shoes. It's pretty much my baby. It has only been ridden once, down the street right when I got it. It's clean for now...

OMG! A Haro bike! I've wanted a Haro Werx 7 bike for quite a while now... Never got the money, and new models rolled in... Was looking into the Werx Sonix and Werx Xeon recently... Still no money, but I can dream of some extreme downhill MTB, can I?

Haha My bank account didn't allow for a Werx or Sonix. This is my next best bet. Plus I'm a hard tail fan. Your gonna **** your pants when you find out how much I paid for this bike. This is the 2006 model. I got it off ebay for $150 shipped. Other sites still sell this bike for $380. And the 2007 model which comes with Tektro Disk brakes which are not nearly as good as Avid BB7's sells for $440. So I basically stole this thing.

Steal... What was missing with it when you bought it?

Nothing. Well actually they forgot to send the little cap that goes on top of the stem. But it came the next day in the mail and I guess they said it was "used". You can't tell. At all.

Well, It's all done. Got the cables all installed and torqued everything to spec. I cannot wait to ride it.

wait...wow $150 shipped IS a steal. Shipping a bike must cost alot. Was it shipped in pieces or put together?

****, that thing must be weightless! I had a haro that looked like that but it was blue....Amazing bikes i must say.

what kind of front derailleur, rear derailleur, cranks, cassettes, wheels, tires and handlebars does it have? looks like a manitou front shock, i have 2 mtb's i built from electric bike frames, but that haro looks nice...i love hardtails. does that shock have a lockout? that'd be sweet

Do you really have to have a warning label about taking off the wheel these days?

I love the ones that tell you to not ride at night and stuff too.

i remember i had a haro F2 fusion back in the day when i was into street bmx. Now im into dirtjumping so im probably going to get a DJ-50 or something, Nice bike man!

Xmodificationer, It came half assembled. I had to put the front wheel seat pedals and bars on.

Wow... Big shipping, I was at Woodward [ Bike and skate park ] Just last night, And people were rippen on some crazy Mountain bikes like them, Daang thats so sick man, Nice steal.
I have 2 Haros, A 2007 F2, Thats heavy and Then a Haro Backtrail X-2, witch is ugly and old, Haha, But dang man that is one sick bike, keep care of it.

About 30 pounds. A little more with the Avid's. Easy for me to carry and I do it everyday haha. I carry from my basement upstairs to ride it and then back down when I'm done.

I don't play set anymore.
