Atomic is trying to start to sell xmods again

I emailed atomicmods yesterday about something and they responded with a little note at the bottom it said,
We are trying to start to sell refurbished xmods and more pro ready boards/atomic built cars.

If you look on their site they are Buying xmods from people working or not. This is good for you people who still have their xmods and arent into them anymore (most of the people on this forum :))

Look at the homepage and you will see what I'm talking about.

I was told to spread the word so I did, please pass this on to friends so people who want xmods can get them and people who don't will get money :)

I saw this to but it is not worth selling to them they are trying to buy our xmods at dirt prices. they said theyll give me 5 dollars for a working gen1 chassie. Its alot better to use ebay you can get a decent amount for what you have. To me its not worth loseing a great amount of money to help a online store which in the end will sell that five dollar chassie for 30 or 40 bucks

Why don't they call the factory and get them made and put them under there name

I've thought of that but xmods have had many different manufacturers in its days, its probably very difficult to pinpoint who has the original molds:cry:

Hey Guys, I thought I would step in and clarify everything. We are trying to get some stuff back in stock so we can continue to provide Xmods cars and parts to the masses. Our buying prices are geared toward the collector that might have a ton of stuff laying around and doesn’t have the time to mess with eBay. If you have one or two cars, your best bet might be eBay. Although, once you've spent your time putting the auction together, waited for the Auction to end, get paid (or not), PayPal takes their cut and eBay takes their cut, you might as well just have sent it to us!

We have quite a bit of overhead here at AtomicMods and we need to make a profit, so we can't pay full retail for things we have to re-sell.

We hope you all are stoked about this...We are! We love Xmods as much as you guys, and we want to see stuff back in stock.

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to purchase a fully F.E.T.ed, pro-ready EVO board again? :bigwink:

Thanks! We can start selling stuff when we get stuff in. So far we've only had a few people say they're sending stuff but we haven't seen anything yet.

Nothing better than straight from the source.

Thank you for the clarification over and above what was posted on AtomicMods' website. :bigwink:

Cheers,
Kyle

I think that you should design a midship motor mount kit for stilleto chassis, I'm currently trying to put a spur on the 4wd shaft and mounting a Losi board and making a midmotor mount(this would make punting in a Losi micro bl EXTREMELY easy just drill the holes for the Losi micro rally motor mount)
