New to this forum stuff and xmods
 

Hey guys I have 2 xmods a gen 1 and evo street. I bought gpm aluminum parts installed them now my evo street runs in reverse instead of forward and vice versa. If I switch the polarity on the motor leads the problem is solved. Does anyone know what happened and how to set it right.

is it the same motor? if so, the motor leads probably just got switched. nothing you install gpm wise would add an extra transfer gear to reverse drive direction

Same motor I didn't think the mods would do that I figured the problem was in the main electronic board. Is it ok to run the car with the polarity reversed on the motor.

as long as its the stock style motor you'll be fine. there was a few motors that you had to flip brushes when you flipped wires. but they were upgrade motors.

Yeah zippo is right! You probably just crossed the leads, because and gpm part u buy isn't gonna change anything on the main chassis or have to mess with the board.
