has this ever happened to anyone else
 

my gen 1 is tearing through its motors like mad crazy i have gon through 6 gen 1 motors. The problem is that the wires on every gen 1 motor i have used rips right at the point where it meets on the can. hase this ever happened to any but me?? :eyecraz: :mad:

resolder them on. the problem is gen 1s are about 7 years old from first release, over time the wires / plastic covering tends to become brittle. and a lot depends on HOW you pull them apart. if you pull em apart too hard you can put excess strain on the wires.

Thats kinda of a common problem. Since the Gen. 1's were built 6 years ago, the solder starts to weaken (Pretty much on everything) & then eventually fall off. It is fixable all you need is a solder gun/iron and some solder. Which can all be gotton at radio shack.
