Flip brushes on Atomic Stock R Motor ??

I read that I need to flip the brushes on the Atomic Stock R Motor for it to run correctly in my Evo/Street but then I read that just switching the positive and negative is good enough - what should I do? Thanks.

Use a 2x2 FET stack btw...

Swapping positive and negative is not enough.

That motor has advanced timing it is necessary to swap the brushes. IT WILL run the other way but reverse will be much faster than forward throttle.

Ok thanks alot Action B - I guess I will swap / rotate the brushes as reqd. on Atomicmods site... still gotta install the 2x2 FETs first though...

FETs are my specialty. Be sure to let me know if you need any help. I strongly recommend having some soldering braid on hand and I do NOT use flux on the board, I feel it makes it more difficult. Also, no more than a 15 watt soldering iron.

Ok thanks again, I do not have any braid right now I think - hmmm might be some in the garage. Yeah I do not like using flux core wire either so I got some regular soldering wire which works great. My smaller iron is about 15w so thats good for SMD devices like these Mosfets. I need to get one of those Weller variable stations - those are nice - have u seen those :) - I do alot of soldering, since electronics is my hobby, job and life lol.
