A $6 dollar wonder!
 

Well i bought some random hummer RC for like $6 and its pretty cool... but its not an xmod. Well ima change that. What i plan on doing is this. I recently retired this RC rally car i had because the steering broke. Well i took its rather large wheels off(about the size of the palm of your hand) and im gonna put it on this hummer. (also the size of just your hand) And my dad said he could help me redo the motor and circuit board to program it like a xmod. SO this will be interesting and it will have a stage 2 EVO motor in it if all goes well. And i will try to post pictures of the Hummer RC and the parts that will go on it but i cant promise because my camera is jacked and im having to use my mom's.. So i will update as soon as possible but most likely post in the one of the actual xmod forums instead of here. Thank you for your time.

you obviously dont read. I said my camera is broke. Kinda hard to take a pic of something without a camera:p

Sounds cool, keep us updated and post pics when you get a cam or get yours fixed.

And if you didn't have a camera. Simply post when you do. Becasue otherwise there really isn't any point of posting this thread until you post pics

UPDATE: My camera is still not fixed so im just gonna wait and buy one later... PLUS my mom wont let me use hers because its real "expensive" or whatever.. But im still waiting till i can get started because im using this same car for this RC race track thats at my school's fall fest.. but after that happens im gonna get started on it right away.

You dont have a mobile phone with a camera? I know they arewnt always the best pics,but it is a pic. :)

I used too actually! But....the thing is... it just quit on me and now i have a RAZR which doesnt have a memory card slot to transfer pics too. My dads USB For the RAZR doesnt even work with it. Reason is its OLD-AS-CRAP lol

if u can send pix messages.. send the picture to ur e-mail?

or text them to photobucket...

the razor has a slot...its behind the battery

or use the bluetooth

or a webcam or a scanner the list goes on

we arnt being nasty here but think about it ,anyone could come on and say " hey iv built the best car every it runs on 15 lith cells and does 20000 miles an hour ....but i dont have any pics "

I have to admit this story is sounding a little fishy. You don't even tell the brand of the RC or the store you bought at.

i think that i know what RC he's talking about. there are some 1/28 at wal-mart for $6 and there's a white f150, a hummer, and some old street rod. i was looking at the chassis and it seems to be the typical cheap blocky chassis with straight spring suspensions and a 130 motor.
