Custom Rsx Body
 

I was bored today so i started off a project and i decided to use a rsx body and i decided to make it look like a wide body and hear are some pictures i still need to fill it in and sand it more and also paint it not so sure what color to paint it yet so if any body has any good ideas u are free to let me know also tell me what u guys think of it

Interesting, widebody RSX sounds awesome. Nice how the fenders match up with the wheels. I like the date of the pictures too. LOL. Keep it goingggg, wanna see more. :D

had to do some cutting to the body but ill but some new pics once i get more time into it i haven't decided what color it should be

This might be out there, but I'd say it's pretty unique. Lavender w/ black accents. I use Krylons and you can get it at Walmart for about 3 bucks, I also use their primer. Works great. Maybe.. orange or a tannish color? Good luck.

i think that looks like a GREAT start...things do line a nicely...might have to look and see if i have some extra parts to try sommething like this...look forward to your progress pics...

Yea for sure i was kind of thinking of making it 2 tone and using a light color ill consider that

as for paint, i'd use tamiya. its the best rattle can around. its a little pricey but worth it

nice project man, reminds me of when i started my civic with the nsx widebody....epic fail. i hope you have better luck than i did. but it looks like you are off to a sick start keep it up :P

thats a good color but the decals make it look good and i don't want to buy decals for it but thanks for ur opinion

That's a great start you got there man! it's looking really good.


You could actually pull the HKS paintjob without getting custom decals for it. You can always draw stencils on masking tape and then pre-cut them to do the color applications.

I.E.

Your primer base is white/ mask the "HKS" letters/ apply lime green coat/ mask around what would be the blocks and use the stencil for the outside outline of the "power" letters then paint flat black/ remove all masking.

then you should have the "HKS POWER" graphic. Then you repeat the steps for the "time attack" graphic on the bottom ( this one is easier since you would only have to mask the outline and then apply black over it)

for the lip graphics you can always get random decals from the sheets that come in your starter kit ( I know they're not the same, but hey, you could pretty much match the style)

Sounds good i might do it like that for the decals but i would have to think about it more because it would need some time to finish first once i get the gaps filled in then sand it and then thats where the color comes in i am actually liking that HKS POWER design

HKS POWER eh? Sounds hella nice. Should add some red Honda emblems to give it that JDM accent.

im most likely going to do the HKS POWER design need to go buy the paint i wish i had more pics of the front and the back if any body does can u please post them on hear as a comment

OMG that is one of the best pieces of bodywork i have seen on an xmod. looks like some competion for dr kustom eh? but man that is hella nice :)

and as for the paint is it going green and black? or would you go with something else. i.e orange and black?

Dam that looks good now that i see it i am going to try to make it look different because i dont like having the same thing as others in my opinion
