2001 Castrol Tom's Supra

Many of you have seen the 2002 TOKUHON Tom's Supra.

And it's a beautiful body that Kyosho made. BUT THEN...
I randomly came across a supra I've never seen before.
It's the 2001 Castrol Tom's Supra, and it was the late version of the team car for that year.

Immediately I thought about how amazing this would be to replicate.

So, knowing me, I decided to, once again, start on another project
(watch this not be finished xD). I have the money once again to buy paints
and I might just end up buying waterslide decal paper!

tl;dr - here's the start of the 2001 Castrol Tom's Supra.

I started with a 2002 Supra White body. This to me is really valuable, but I'm
not going to cut it up (similar to how Dr. Kustom approached cutting his
supra) until I make a final decision based on how worthwhile it might be to resin cast (here we go again).

I had a friend send me pictures from GT5, seen in this link (feel free to browse it!) :

(for those who play GT5, if you have this supra, you'll realize they never put
more detail into this car. Only the newer cars have the realistic and smooth look)

and from the decals of the 2002 supra I photoshopped, this is what I have so far:

As you can see, there's tape in the background of the decals, and thats
because I used masking tape to trace the body and area covered.

using tape and normal letter sized paper, this is what i have haha xD

This will also be a slow project because I would rather finish the decals first,
hen find the appropriate paints. (plus, I'm in university..I have to study, you know?!)

C&C welcome!
