Bought the steering upgrade just won the drop kit for 9.00 next week going to order green gpm adjustable knuckles. The car comes with a stage 2 motor and bearings that are new but no xtra gearing

Wow so many upgrades you can go with, I would like to make some suggestions of upgrade you can do..( You dont have to just a suggestion and options).
-GPM front and Rear shock tower
-Aluminum or Carbon fiber shaft
-All wheel drive kit
-Power switch bypass, and upgrade to dean plugs ( Your option dont know how your solder skills are, so skip this suggestion if you soldering skills are not good dont want you to mess up your car.)
- Lipo 2s pack upgrade, but you will have to remove stock battery tray. ( Your option dont know how your solder skills are, so skip this suggestion if you soldering skills are not good dont want you to mess up your car.)
-Stilleo chassis

These are just upgrades I've done to mine thought i share, and for the Power switch bypass, and lipo upgrade do it at your own risk dont want to be reliable for you doing just cause i suggested and you end up messing up your car doing it wrong, Does require some soldering skill. there are tutorials on atomicmods.com , Again do it at your own risk!

Going with the parts I bought and gpm F&R knuckles and the new 2.4 I waver electronics

yamar6 07-28-2012 04:27 PM

i just got the car and the steering is a little jittery if i change the pot wiuld that fix it

XMDrifter 07-28-2012 07:37 PM

nope. there's areally no fix beside a new controller. or an upgrade to mini-z or iWaver electronics. but it shouldn't really affect the amount of fun you get out of it just because it has jitter. all of mine jitter a tiny bit, cept my mini-z boarded one.
if you want good speed, go for a fet upgrade and a faster motor. or drop the stage to arm into a atomic ball bearing motor can.

yamar6 07-29-2012 02:33 AM

so it's the radio not the car i have to see if i can pick one up

SnoOpy 07-30-2012 11:08 AM

@ yamar all cars jitter its all normal. My stock cars a modded cars jitter all the time from Ni-Cad to Lipo its just the high voltage from a fresh charged battery. What is happening is the servo is seeing a higher voltage making it jitter the servo is always trying to auto center itself, and because of the extra power it has, it now returns to center with more force causing it to overshoot slightly and then re-center its all normal. My xmods and mini-z does it , it really doesnt effect the driving or steering of the car..

Im trying to send it back.....There is no way that this car is brand new the screws on the bottom are all scraped up every screw was way to loose even the top plate. Also when i looked in side the front to see if something was dirty for the steering there was all dirt and hair.So my new one sealed in a box should be here by next week. This guy has tons of xmods and parts new and used he even gave me his number so i can talk to him because he got screwed by the same ebayer

forgot the worst part the chassis is sanded down on both sides behind the wheels. There is no way it came from factory like this i had 3 long chassis and never seen them sanded down on a angle

Whats the ebayer name?

SnoOpy 07-30-2012 05:26 PM

Best of luck to you if you got it on ebay, Most cases if it was paid and shipped and there is no return policy accepted in the description . The you would have to contact the seller directly and settle a agreement, and state your issue with your item. I had a issue like that before seller selling something with false advertisement, both came to a agreement that i will keep the car but seller will reimburse me half of what i paid for or sometimes reimburse me for shipping. Good Luck to you tho, if the seller doesnt cooperate with you. You can alway file a false advertisement with ebay or something.
