well its the darkside for me, tirbute project to my friends C6 vette. bought this car prob 30 min ago and i have shaved the fender flares and disassembled the body. my camera is dead right now so the pics were taken with my phone

thanks, the colors will be kinda dark but not super dark, stock C6 bk. just to set it straight its dark side because thats what the owner called he vettes before he got one, he said something about hes all for mustangs (had a 04 mystic cobra 02 mach1 and 89 GT plus a 03 HD F150) but might look in to stepping into the darkside so a while

looks great so far. the reason why i said some kool bk is becuz you had putty on the front, i thought you were fabbing up ur won.

hoping to shoot some paint in the next hour

dont rush it bud. you need it done right to make it look sweet. i have messed up many xmods bodies painting them too fast.

no offense bro but i know what im doing, i have bought and painted a car in the same day (first white and first painted 08 GTR on XMS) you do most body work the night before (putty and sand) add more if needed let sit over night sand it wet sand it then paint it once dry. i too have had my share of mess ups, but most can be corrected easily

oph, none taken at all. just giving helpful tips. you look like you know wat ur doing so im not cramping ur style, just being helpful, thats all.

alright well darkside has been out on a temporary halt. the primer did not stick to the body so when the paint hit it the i guess chemicals made the paint rise, no biggie but the body is history for now, so tomorrow i have to pick up a new Z06 and repeat all the work i have do. its an unfortunate set back but it happens to the best of the best as well. so keep an eye on this project you never know what might happen next
