Crawler
Some of you guys might remember me. I got out of xmods and into these. I built this myself. 3/16 solid rod mig welded. Running Tlt axles with all the goodies. It's gonna have a Mamba Max esc, 11.1 lipo,Hitec 645 servo, and a 55 turn lathe motor. Billet rims and Moabs tires.

Nice, did you build it, is it hand crafted???
Nice job on it What about elecs, servo motor, ETC... |

Did you read my post or just look at the pic? |

Dude really, that thing is sweeeet!! Hmmm if you don't mind me asking, but why 11.1v lipo with a 55t? Why not 7.4v on the 55T, to calm things down?:p |

**** dude, nice craftsmanship on that thing, how much total travel are you getting out of the suspension roughly? cant wait to see this beast in action :)
|
I will post up some flex shots later. Thanks for the compliments.
|
realy nice, how long it take to make?
|
If you're running a brushless ESC why not run a lower kV brushless outrunner motor? You'd have more powerband with that low kV brushless motor than you would with a 55T brushed motor.
I run the same HS-645MG in my Axial, you'll love that servo. Tons of torque and not a slow speed at all for the amount of power. Good luck. I like the chassis design. :) |
Some poser shots! Djking I probably have about 6 hours in fabbing the chassis and links. Donzii the Mamba Max is for brushed or brushless motors and from what I have read the brushed motor delivers smoother power for a crawler setup. I may try a brushless if I find a good deal on one, but the 55t does everything I want. If you read the box it says brushed or brushless on it. I should get some more flex when my tranny and electrics are in it, if not I am going to try some softer springs.

What kind of trans are you going to be running?

I am running an R2 from RC4WD.com. |

Haha that thing is SWEET dude!!
How fast? :p |

Not real fast but a ton of torque. has an Integy 55 turn lathe motor on 11.1 volts. |
