OK so as the title says, Im getting back into xmods
Im thinking about doing lots of things to new xmods bodies. half that stuff is on clearance at radioshack. check there before you buy any rs parts. i got the full tire upgrade for like 4 bucks. thats all treads in hard and soft.
and just like they say dont spend it all in one place |
why spend 30 bucks on the blue f150 and body kit when u can get a new one from rs for like 5 bucks

instead of buying a G35 body and clip for $29.99 and a medium chassis for $65.98, just buy the radio shack G35 starter kit for $29.99. then all you would need is the spacer for the medium length chassis

So my only source for xmods parts is the internet also as for the S2 motor upgrade, thats because Im getting 6 of them; :lol: |

Geez... G35 body+clip is $30? ****... Thats how much I payed for my Lan Evo starter kit! And that's USD... Converted to CAD, and hello! :p Don't buy a Mini-Z if you don't want to! If Xmods are your passion, go for it! |

a scion starter alum. from rcmart.com atomic motor can 33t PN Racing handwound motor armature mini-z wing bodies from XI spider version whatever turbo or fet stacks cooling fan jdr motor wire upgrade and liths(use deans plugs on the motor wire upgrade so you can swap out motors if you get more than one) XI or atomic alum. chassis atomic CF drive shaft and ball diffs and bevel gears susp. tuning kit(springs) tires from atomic ceramic bearings atomicmods nascar clearbody conversion faskolor, faspearl, or whatever polycarbonate paint for the clearbody just my suggestion if you are going to spend 1000 dollars on xmods you can find most of these things on rcmart though(which has the lowest prices i know of) |
get a nitro car and put some money into that

$1000? WHY? spend it on something you really need or something that will last longer than an xmod. I would go to a hobby grade rc car and spend money on that. How far away is the closest radioshack from you? i think its worth a trip since its a lot cheaper than online

ok heres the thing people
I know all of you who are like: "1000 dollars on Xmods ?? OMG" are only about 12-16 years old. Hence why it seems like a lot to you. But thing is, I make well over $3500 a month working and 1000 bucks isnt going to kill me....I mean I just bought $250 shoes for crying out loud.....and lets not talk about that samsung HDTV i just bought 2 weeks ago for $3200. ALSO all of you who are telling me to get Zip Zaps or mini Z's, If i woulda wanted to get those, they would be on the list instead of all those xmods parts so STOP ASKING. FINALLY, the closest RS to me is about 12 hours by plane away from me considering Im in Europe for 3 more years (hence the reason I stopped Xmods for about 6 month). Thats the reason Im buying online and the reason I need som1 that ships to Europe |
well that's your problem I suggest you find your self a wife that like to go 200 min over on her cell phone, a one year old, a mortgage, two student loans plus a bunch of other debt then try spending 100 dollars on a xmod. LOL
I'm just joking around if you have the money and want to by XMOD stuff a say **** it's your money go ahead. But I do have to ask does atomic mods ship to europe? if they do i would just get one of robs turn key cars if you have that kind of dough to spend, but then again maybe you want to do the tinkering your self. This is getting a little out of hand. The OP wants to spend $1000 on XMODS. So be it. Some of you guys are telling him "forget about it, buy Mini-Z, nitro, hobby-grade, etc instead!". He did NOT ask you your negative opinion on his matter. He never asked you "I'm thinking ___, should I do it?", yet you continue on going off topic on nitro, personal vehicles, family matters, etc. He's a kid now. Have fun with your childhood. You can't reclaim that in the future. You may as well spend money on what you like now and laugh at yourself in the future rather than sulking down on the opportunities you've had in the past, yet unable to pursue them in the future.
