RC Drifting thread
For those of you who've been out of the loop about RC drifting, RWD RC drifting has evolved in the world of rc drifting and is rapidly gaining a following. we thought it was too difficult but we finally got a formula figured out to do it.
so anyways, i've been doing this for a long while and well, here are my 3 current chassis! Spoiler for click for the three chassis:
far left is a 1.76 CS ratio tt01 middle is a rwd ta06 right is a rwd devil drift with r31-rwd suspension parts Spoiler for More pics:
some drift videos me and my missouri friends went to (me and my friends were in day2. one in the olive drab s13 w/ military star on side, one in plain white FC, me in oddly asymmetrically colored FD) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMTfk-bHThU i havent has so much fun since when i first started xmods lol. |
Awesome stuff. My son is into 1/10 scale drifting and has a few AWD cars. Nothing quite that nice though.

if you take the money you've ever spent on xmods and redump that into 1:10th you can very well get a good 2 alu/carbon rtr chassis out of it. :P each one of mine wasn't more than 300 ish dollars from start to finish to build (all of them came as a build-it-yourself kit) I've done a lot of hacking to get nearly 90 degrees of steering angle out of the front-motor one.
