My new truggy 120.00 shipped ready to run even with battery pack. Also the company is comeing out with hop up parts.I think it's a losi company who makes it.

This thing is creeping in everywhere. You're right, Electrix is a Horizon brand. What's funny is on their site, a guy FROM Horizon makes a video review of the truck...lol...advertising a bit much, eh?

Anyways. Me and dad were at a LHS looking for parts for the major score he made, ($50 for a running Jato, artr t-maxx, artr kyosho car, and 2-3 parts buggies+a lawnmower) And I saw the truck(s) on a table. It was my birthday. I had like $50, I was like, "dad, I want that". Needless to say I got $80 to boot and walked out with it.

UGH can't embed!!!

Those explain most of it.

I hear a LOT of badmouthing on these. I don't get it though, I have beat the crap out of mine...And its still runs like new. I read a lot about how it was made cheaply...my only complaint is that parts are coming out later for it.

SO would I reccomend it? yes, but not until "late september"

i just added better rear shocks and my brushless i also had a lipo i never used.taking it to the track tuesday to see how it runs.I had a rustler VXL and i like this truck way better.Im also going to make a carbonfiber plate to stiffin up the back shock tower and put some adjustable rods for the rear and front.

greenday 09-05-2010 03:12 PM

I just lost my pinion gear, and my slipper keeps tightening itself...:(

Took off the rear shocks to short buying there aftermarket ones. also took pics of my brushless system in it stock was to slow..
ur slipper should not tighten up on you......

the guys that say its junk they don't even have one yet. Why its so cheap is it has crapy electronics in it who cares Im going to put 2.4 in mine the chassis and the gear box are stiff the only things that bend are the aarms and the rear shock tower.I emailed the company they said they are making lots of hop up parts for it if u look at the chassis it's a Losi.I bet if you put the losi back plate on the chassis i bet it fits cause the losi company makes it but uses a different name.

it defintly had the stance of a losi and the rear end gives it away, its either made by losi or a losi clone. but looks fun and glad to see your enjoying it ;)

Yeah I love how people see it one time (even on the web) and instantly claim they know it's junk. I've beaten the snot out of this thing. It's still tough and ready to rock, were it not for the pinion gear. Replacement parts are cheap, and because this is a brand under Horizon, I know that the parts will be readily available....just wish they would have had them ready when the truck was released. I too am going to get their shocks, they look pretty good imo, I think they're (hope) threaded. I also want some more top end from mine, and definitely some better bashing tires, just not sure how I'm going to go about doing it.

I should ask because I considered that Brushless Set, but it didn't seem to generate such a big difference in performance so then I kinda forgot about it, how is it? I don't want to spend $80 and then have it not give me the power and speed I'm wanting.

bosco72 09-06-2010 09:36 AM

Hobbypartz.com has a orange set up for 59.00 dollars the same as the ezrun. My ezrun Its very fast with a lipo or a better battery it's worth the money plus never gave me any problems. The better shocks are threaded

greenday 09-06-2010 02:10 PM

haha! I knew they were. definitely going to buy those now. Well what can I expect in terms of speed and torque? As you know the stock trim has a lot of torque, does a brushless upgrade still grant you with lots of torque + speed?I'm not looking for a whole lot over 30 mph, but 20 has just gotten boring

bosco72 09-06-2010 06:36 PM

i think the 4300 ezrun is a nice speed I say it might go over 35 with a lipo and faster with a 2cell lipo.I drove mine today and what a difference it was.Im telling you better then my old rustler VXL and the chassis is nicer and the gear box is way smoother and tighter then it to.

greenday 09-06-2010 09:41 PM

Well perhaps I may go that route. Sounds like to me you're getting a lot of good out of yours, mine was great, then the bottom kinda fell out. Guess I'll whip out some loctite, and it won't happen again.

bosco72 09-06-2010 11:22 PM

what fell out

greenday 09-07-2010 04:32 PM

bahah! Of all things, I get off the bus today and find my pinion gear. I have been so lucky with this truck...and my lhs has parts, I asked them and they said a guy put a traxxas 12 (550, I guess) with no trouble. And they have stocker parts. SO I am there saturday...oughta be nice.

up date of mine...lipo battery, adjustable tie rods, green progress springs cut the body bumpers also bought white dish rims still have to by tires.

This truggy is fast as hell and only spent around 220.00 for everything way better then my old VXL traxxas rustler that i spent over 300.00 for it out of box.

greenday 09-20-2010 04:08 PM

sweet, I'm still trying to order parts for mine at the moment.
