Thanksgiving Mini-shoot w/ short vids
I took some pictures of the Supra today. Raymond came by later on and took some rolling shots and a couple 10sec videos (which I'll post a bit later).
Here's what I've experimented with so far. I took these pictures with my little Canon Powershot. And yes...I made every shot a powershot. :p http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3028/...511dd0cf5d.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3024/...4feb8b6508.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3207/...c2f6d676b1.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3241/...e8ce93544d.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3240/...a89b6820af.jpg Here are the links to the two mini-clips that Raymond filmed. http://www.facebook.com/login.php#/v...?v=37157188243 http://www.facebook.com/login.php#/v...?v=37157733243 I'll post more up later! |
Looking pretty sharp dude... you gonna swap the stock rims out at any point?
|
I'll get new rims eventually but anything worth putting on the car costs a pretty penny, and unfortunately, I'm all out of pretty pennies. lol
|
That motion blur picture looks pretty darn sweet, Civic_Guy. As always, hot Supra. ;)
|
well, we'll just wait for you to get some more pretty pennies and get some new wheels (although i kinda like the stock wheels-sleeper look to it)
|
Looking better and better!
The Supra sounds really healthy. I like it. I'll be riding up your *** about this, but change the rims! But still a great ride, IMO the best on XMS. |

I still vote to lose the front 'lip'...
But the shots look good! Especially that second motion-blur picture, it looks really professional! Oh, and I love white cars, they're easy to shoot. |
That car really scares me...:eyecraz:
Do you get into much trouble not having a front license plate? You think with a car like that you would stand out alot and they'd be all over you. It happens to me alot and trust me my car is no where near as hot as yours. I guess I just have to be a little more covert |
not turboed is it?
|
Me luff Supra, But the front bumper fails......And, Any plans for rims soon?
|
OK everyone give civic_guy a break and read his entire thread.... the rims question has been asked at least 3 times and each time he has given the same answer :)
@ Spoon Tuner - front license plates aren't required in all US states but you guys are both from Texas right and if I'm not mistaking they are required there aren't they? I wonder what cunning method he has for quick removal... I've seen a motorized flip down license holder thats pretty cool but it doesn't look like he has that installed..... |
Well I learned something new then from this site.
I didn't know that now two plates are required in every state. I would figure that he would get pulled over for it because I mean its a Supra and its white, it sticks out to me and I think police would say the same thing. I don't like front plates anyways... His looks great without one. I dont have a front tag on my car and I have been pulled over one time. |

Don't worry guys, rims will come in due time. I need to save about 5-6k before I'm able to start shopping. Nice rims for this car are expensive and the cost of tires doesn't make it any easier. |
