Man vs. Sports Car
Not sure if this is new or old but I was watching something on NatGeo last night when a clip popped up of some strong guy hold on to a Mustang, I spent a bit of time finding more information and came across this:
http://channel.nationalgeographic.co...w#tab-Overview The video itself: http://channel.nationalgeographic.co...ideos/07496_00 The strongman is Austrian Franz Müllner.... apparently he has already done a similar challenge holding back a Lamborghini Diablo for 7 seconds which is a world record... This car is supposedly a 605HP Shelby GT500 and if you haven't already seen it I will let you watch it to see if he beats his existing record. Pretty crazy stuff though.... that car has a buttload of torque.... so to hold on to it for any period of time is amazing! |
the only thought crossing my mind repeatedly... what kind of shoes was this guy wearing??? that kind of traction is insane...
|
Bet you any money they are high top Chuck Taylor Converse :)
But on a more serious note if you read the NatGeo article it's all to do with his muscle groups being in balance... wish I was that strong :) |
There was another one a while back where a guy held back a jet. Pretty crazy stuff.
|
ahhh ive seen it already.....the mustang just does a burn out and is already at a loss for traction so its easier to hold back lol idk if i could do it but its not as hard as you think.. lol

Despite it all being reaaaaaally rigged, that's still mighty impressive. How many people can essentially pull 700 lbs?
Of course, if the driver just slowly let the clutch out... He'd just drag the guy around  |
If he can do that, he can certainly hold back a Prius. Maybe he should go around and stop the runaway madness!
|
priuses don't run away. only rav-4's and camrys.
as much as i wished them priuses would, they just won't effin' break down! |
The only Priuses that are in the whole acceleration are people who pretend that they can't stop them.
