Mounted up the bike rack today:

Orange on black just rocks my socks I assume. GOT AN OVEN! Now I can powder coat some big stuff, including my wheels/headers and such. $30 well spent: http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...0/DSC00186.jpg http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...0/DSC00185.jpg http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...0/DSC00184.jpg Then mounted some 2x4s for a sub frame and threw on some casters we had laying around: http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...0/DSC00183.jpg http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...0/DSC00182.jpg I was joking that now I have a modified oven, it's lifted 2 inches on lift blocks with oversized tires. My 4x4 oven! http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...0/DSC00187.jpg And hooked up the "ricer lights", used that extra peanut bulb holder that came with the conversion lights, and put in some LED peanut bulb replacement. Their amber, but show up orange in the pics. May need to tint the LEDs some to get more orange out of them. |
Man I just love that truck, color and all. If you ever want to sell it....um...just let me know. :bigwink:
|
That bike in the back looks pretty cool since the both match. The headlights look kind of cool but i thought your wheels were already powder coated?
|
That doesn't look like an EasyBake oven to me, Texan. :p

Looks like some horror movie... Burn out action editing begins tomorrow, if my redneck *** friend brings me his cam's charger. |

http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...0/DSC00225.jpg http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...0/DSC00227.jpg  Been tuning it up and ironing out the kinks. Most all of my fuel problems with dirt have passed. The Carb is getting decent, though I'll probably toss the rebuilt one on soon. It's running very strong now with a new ignition coil. Had a blow out last week, so while rolling on the spare I've been blasting and prepping my steel wheels for powder coat. The original white on the wheels is powder coat as well, and has been a real ***** to get off. But with in a week or two, new (fatter) rear tires go on back. Something about those burnouts last week damaged the tires... hmm.. Got my disk brakes master cylinder and prop valve in as well, so with that the brakes are 100% solid. http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...0/DSC00201.jpg http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e3...0/DSCN0587.jpg |
When you get those spacers, slam it it (sand bags?) and head over to HellaFlush.com and submit it. Be pretty cool for you to have a truck in a sea of cars there..
|
No sir, I like to be able to drive my truck with more than a half inch of tire clearance, and I like to put the right width tires on my wheels as well.
Slamming is a 2-3k project for later. |
Hmmm... something tells me you like orange, but I can't figure it out!
lol! That is one hot truck! beware on those dry grass fields, 'cuz it may just spark a fire its that hot! http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o...20/borat-1.jpg |
it's certainly no urban camo, but i like it =P

By the way, I hate all rear angled pictures I posted last, they make this thing seem really raked in the rear, which is not the case. |
none of your pics work anymore. bandwidth exceeded FTL
|
I kept getting email warnings yesterday, ignored it because I thought it was talking about my old pics. From my other PB account.
PB says it shall be back tomorrow. |
Flickr FTW! :D

Should be a good hint. If I can scrounge up parts by this weekend, I should be set with a sweet set of "fun pipes". Side exit, never mind the mufflers, and breathing fire. |
Whats with the ricer lights? I figured you would go on adding ricer headlights/lights, lol. Are you going to fix the rust on the doors? I like the look of the front, but looking at the truck from the rear doesnt look right, maybe because of the rear bumper.
|
The rust fixing under the doors may come over the summer, it needs that and the wind shield. May also just end up swapping cabs, as the windshield damage is bad. The shape of the truck makes it look much higher in back, the rear dove-tails up a few inches. on the over all, it's gotta nice little rake.
Ricer lights strike fear into the souls of the unworthy. |
 your making a flaming pipe with a spark plug. Those are fun to watch, my uncle had a lil red express truck and put a spark plug on each of the stack and it was always fun to watch him drive away.
Hopefully we will see a video after its all said and done. |
