still looks decent right?
http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f3...e/DSCN2114.jpg
now lets go through some of the cracks since you seem to think that this is a decent shell.
most were there when i got ahold of it,a few were opened up more by full bore runs at a 4' tall dirt pile with 4 different angles carved into it.

http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f3...e/DSCN2116.jpg
it takes a pretty massive hit to bend back a body shim+thick pin,it takes an even bigger hit to rip the other pin off comepletely...
http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f3...e/DSCN2117.jpg
http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f3...e/DSCN2118.jpg
http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f3...e/DSCN2119.jpg
http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f3...e/DSCN2120.jpg
and out of all that thrashing, this was the worst of the damage to my paint.
http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f3...e/DSCN2121.jpg
i'll also go ahead and add that this was done on sand, gravel and dirt.
any sliding done on concrete is going to make you paint look like crap wether you have a lexan clearcoat or not.

once you take the shell off the mounts everything kinda pops back into place,sorta..
the painjob isn't anything special really,i just had time to kill and a shell infront of me.
there's little detail in the stripes and the whole thing took me 20 minutes from base to clear.
i shot it with black on the underside so the scratches would be less noticable, shot the top with black base, laid in loose tiger stripes, pulled a bristle brush across a few and then shot the clear.

back to the original topic though,i masked all of the existing stickers so if you look at the clear borders of the stickers, you can see how it's reletively black underneath but clouded and slightly pink from the previously mentioned residue.
