Where to buy motor arms?

I am starting to get into this motor building thing and i cant seem to find any places that sell long arms or spiral arms. I already know where to get slotted ones but i am looking for a spiral one for my crawler motor. Is there a place i can get em without having to buy a motor only to strip it for the arm like the z2?

unfortunately, we haven't been able to find any manufacturers who make motor armature blanks since audley stopped selling them

Superglue and rearrange stock arms is your best bet.

He's right. Auldey stopped making/selling them long ago. Your best bet is skewing armatures, adding/subtracting laminations, etc. The only thing you really cant get ahold of is FAT comms, unless you grab them off big-name motor company's armatures.

Ok i skewed my first arm. today, any one have pics, my skew looks really weird. Or yea, one more thing do you really need those plastic covers at the end of the poles, i am temped to rip the off because they are really annoying. Since the laminations are kinda stiff so i scratched the top part of the poles with my pliers, is that ok or do i need a new arm?

Them plastic things keep the wires from touching the laminations.

the insulation is required to keep the arm from shorting out (which WILL kill your EP instantly)

They sell 37T balanced armatures by Jaw Drop Racing on ebay for 10 shipped. just checked today.
