June '12-'13 1:1 Buildoff
 

Hey guys. I'm not sure who's admin/mods anymore on here, but a few of us that were veterans when the site was active would be willing to participate in another friendly 1:1 buildoff for the year, if it's not too much hassle. Lots of our veteran members that are old enough to own 1:1 cars now have actually applied their skills and knowledge from tinkering with RC's to their real cars and I think it would be fun and maybe helpful for the site.

not sure what all i'd get done to the Tacoma...did stereo, canopy...and most recently wheels and tires...but i'd throw it in for funsies...maybe i will get a thread up for you over the weekend?....maybe...

Hell, I'd be willing to put my Sonic in for ****s and giggles. I don't plan on doing anything major, but hell, why not.

and YOU have to catch us up on car history...is the Firebird gone?...or caught up in the legal system still...as far as the paint issues?...or do you now also have a subie? :-?...i have been meaning to ask on FB but forgot...and i thought you were driving someone elses at some point?...

Just need blessings from a mod/admin and a forum for it and we're good to go.

Still fighting the paint issue on the Firebird, still drive the hell out of it. Not sure if I'll keep it or fund the...

'93 Impreza that I bought and will start building for Rallycross, both locally and SCCA. This is the car that beat me in the other Impreza at the last event. It's been in 5 events so far, including the one two weeks ago, my first time with it.

CST/10 sits in Houston, dreaming of a cabswap and for me to finish the OD trans. It blew a freeze plug the last time I drove it (3 months ago), and I haven't had time to replace it.

Not out, just looking pretty in the driveway with no coolant. When I'm in Houston, I'm usually rocketing around town. The freeze plug that blew is behind the motor mount, so it takes a special tool to get it out.

My Blazer is gone. :'(
I miss that thing bad.

But, my cousin has a '98 with a 6.0L V8 out of an '06 3500HD.
The engine is in, just a little more wiring and she'll be tearing up the road in no time.

Can somebody please hook us up with a subforum? Thanks for the help.
