2002 Tom's TOKUHON Supra
 

Here's (somewhat of) a treat for you guys.
I had this since....well....2004 or something. At the time I was in elementary school, and I only had one gen1 xmods chassis to use. This body became one of my xmods shells (made a rear screw on clip and all), and it just became one of my 'daily drivers'. I boxed this up around 2007, and only realized in 2009 now how rare this became. I regret playing with it, but heck, I was a kid - I didn't expect these would become collectors items.

"TL;DR". Long story short, this body isnt in the best condition.

A lot of decals ripped/ wore away over use, and also yellowed. :( I want
a new one to keep, but I dont know anyone who'd be willing to accept some of my collection for one. :P

I think it's gorgeous. "Drifting" runs around in my head just looking at it. Should try to take some trick shots outside making it look like a read thing. Liking the detail on the lights too.

cool body man...i think i have a white version of it...???...any plans for it?

There's a guy at MZR selling a mint one for $150usd...he'll get it too.

That supra was my favorite to cheer for in the 2002 JTGC series.;)

@ Floyd: YOU HAVE A WHITEBODY SUPRA? Is it 2002 or 2003? there are differences, you can tell from the shape of the windows (2002 is curved at the end of the side windows, 2003 is boxed a little). Those are pretty hard to come by I believe (if its 2002).

As for plans, I'm keeping this in its original glory, OR i may sell it and possibly get a newer one.

@ Cowboy: I saw that haha. I really want it, but its way too expensive. I can never spend that much on a body alone.

yeah!...i mean i could be wrong but i believe it is 2002 JGTC supra...the windows seem curved...the whitebody kind of body...i got it awhile back and just hadnt done anything with it yet

pics after the weekend for confirmation?...my wife and i are on opposite coasts and she has the camera LOL

What scale is it ? will look around the UK for you...

@nsx94, you mean the scale of this body? its just like any normal mini-z/xmods scale, 1:27.52 / 1:28. Its a really rare autoscale with this livery, so if you were to find one for really cheap, you'd be extremely lucky (luckier than me finding a 4 leaf clover two days ago xD)

didnt really mean to bump, but again, boredom strikes, and i chose to try and make decals for the car. too much time wasted on what could've been study time LOL.

I still need to resize the decals, even if it looks pretty close as it is.
it lags my photoshop too...17mb file.

i took individual shots of every decal on the car, photoshopped, and also googled some to get the best quality for some logos.
im thinking of possibly making a new decal sheet to apply on the car, or just find a supra of the same style and apply the decals on there.

haha everyone's been pming me. i havent replied, but thanks to the two who have! I'm not going to claim it though (wish I could), I recently spent my remaining funds towards something semi-related.
