Putting a Mini Z swing shaft into an xmod?
Has anyone ever tried putting a mini z swing shaft into and xmod? I was wondering because if so that would give you more possibilities in rims plus it basically looks the same except for where the wheel fits on.

huh???

you know how the xmod has swing shaft the part that's a dogbone and wheel shaft mounted together well that's the same as a awd mini z but I'm just wondering if u switch the xmod for a mini z the wheel shaft will be ovalish instead of a d shape
|
havent tried to put one in, there are a few tutorials on how to make the mini z rims fit the xmod. either by sanding / grinding the xmod shaft down on one side to give it the dual flat sides to fit the rim, or you can file the wheel to make one side round to fit the xmod shaft.

it can be done with a gen1 chassis not sure about the evo chassis

yeah I've heard of sanding the shafts I just figured it would be cleaner doing it that way. i may do both well see thanks.

I think someone did it on a Gen. 1 on the front, but I can't remember if it was a member here on XMS or XMF?
