Looks like it's going to be a great project.
I'm going to have to keep my eyes on this one. |
Beautiful color on that shell. Make sure to give us as good of chassis pictures as you have body. ;)
Cheers, Kyle. |
Thanks guys! I have just finished the rear end of the chassis, going to start working on the main chassis now, more update coming soon.

Clean chassis as well. You take great pics BTW. :D Later, T.I.M |

|
Thanks FloyfanYodaman. Just got the front lip mounted back on the chassis and added a rear air diffuser. Let me know what ya think.

Rocks the boat. ;) Lip and diffuser set it off perfectly, not too much but definitely there.

Finished the STi, took it out for some outdoor pics today. Hope ya like it. http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...0/IMGP0178.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...0/IMGP0179.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...IMGP0176-2.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...IMGP0177-1.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...IMGP0180-1.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...IMGP0175-1.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...IMGP0183-3.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...IMGP0182-5.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...IMGP0181-3.jpg |
wow, the black lip on the front made a hell of a difference on the look of the car. love it.
|
that looks so smooth.
great job on that STi |
Awesome work as always! ;)
Not sure how I feel about that spoiler above the rear window, though..? Cheers, Kyle. |
wow. seriously good photography skills plus an amazingly detailed car make for some very convincing photos. (first one had me thinking 1:1) That looks great, everything is very cleanly done. Nothing cluttered, the lip and exhaust tip really top off the detail.awesome.
|
Very nicely done! Not feeling the spoiler on the rear window....
Maybe if it was black? Awesome pictures and awesome work as usual. :) Later, T.I.M |
Thanks for all the great feedback guys! I personally like the upper spoiler, it really isn't that bad, I will keep it on. Today, I took the STi in my backyard to have some rally fun.
In this first pic, I just wanna show the power of the AWD and the speed of how fast it was going. http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...0/IMGP0191.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...IMGP0190-1.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...IMGP0185-3.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...IMGP0189-2.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...IMGP0202-1.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...IMGP0214-1.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...IMGP0215-1.jpg |
So is this guy ever gonna see any track or gonna rot on a shelf?
|
I'm going to be the first to say it, I think it's to subtle. You are capable of better builds, as seen in previous projects, so why stop with mediocrity? It reminds me of those little builds motor mouth talks about on the radioshack site.
Come on, bring the heat. It looks good, but not exceptional, and doesn't stick out that much from an autoscale. You can still go subtle, I am not saying "F&F" it, but try some new tricks. Yellowed headlights, foglamps, splitters, carbon fiber-something to set it off from the pack. |
