Gen 1 wide chassis
 

I wanted to install a tamyia model on one of my Gen 1 chassis but for the moment I can't buy wider wheels on the net...:cry2:

So I tried to do a wider chassis to accomodate the wider stance of my model body.

The body is a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI :rockon:

I made the chassis with some plexiglass I had in my garage...

I know I still have a lot to do but I think it's a good start considering it took me about 2 hours to do it!

I'm going to do another chassis cuz the first one is a little too wide so it won't be driveable...
It would be easier if i could find a EVO chassis but they're really hard to find in my country and too expensive for now on the Bay.
The body is ready to be painted, all sanded and glued all the pieces together...
Still not sure about the color, I have a lot of paint but they are a little old, like ~9 years so I'm gonna do some test before spraying it on the body.
If my paint is still good it should be metallic blue for tamyia or a nice and shiny red.
I also alwais loved the murdered looks...

I'll put some pics of the body when it got the primer on.
