yay! u finally took my advice and stayed away from another vintage! gratz

The charging time solely depends on the charging rate.
The truck looks clean.:) Nice buy man. A lot of people are getting the slash nowdays. Fieldfairy also got one I think. Any modding plans for it? Later, T.I.M |
Meh, after market Alum blue parts so everything matches. :D
I found out the charger is auto stop... lol, i dont know how long it took but its RTR now! :D |
tayyab: Slash 4x4. Not the original :bigwink:
Good looking slash. The stock battery and charger are not very good. Those would be the first upgrades to look into along with some quality tools and maintenance stuff (cleaner, lubricant), everything to keep the car running strong. Have fun with it. I know you will. Another good thing; all the aftermarket and parts support. |
DAMAGE ASSESMENT!

you damage everything! lol

I have a set of Hot Racing blue aluminum front and rear control arms that I'll sell you if you're interested.
I would immediately get some of the Traxxas Big Bore shocks with some thicker shock oil in that thing, and aluminum caster blocks front and rear. Get used to the power of the Titan, and then go brushless. The Titan won't last long, they usually don't anyway.. make sure you lube it after every couple runs and it should last a little while. |

Lookin' much better now bud. Get that thing dirty. Will we be seeing videos? Later, T.I.M |
Perhaps, but i only run it on my boring street. I flipped it a few times. It doesnt jump on my speed bump though, but it jumps on a big crack on the sidewalk.
Maybe, if my sis is willing to record. PM Sent btw ling :) |
I have one that is all stock i race on the weekends every weekend.Off road short course dirt in the summer and carpet with wooden ramps indoor in the winter. They are a great truck the only thing i replace is the motors.
|
you can't compete in them stock class competitions if you remove 12T motor! I want a better looking motor, like the stock Blitz motor.
|
Compete in the modified class if there is one? I know you'll be racing the guys with deep wallets there, but you still get the chance to race. I wish I could, the closest track to me is 1.5 hours away and they don't have actual competitions that I know of. :(
|
ling thats the same here the closes track w/ a competition is about and hour and 10 mins away from my house.. and me and kevin tried looking for a track near him.. the closest one i found was around 6 hours away from him O.o
|
Theres a few that are 20min - 1 Hour away, I'll check on those later though.
TODAY, I OUTRAN A CAR! :D TODAY, I flipped my truck over 9000 times. |
Welceom to the ranks as an owner of a Slash. You will never regret it. I love my Slash, and its upgraded to the teeth. RPM EVERYTHING, VXL brushless system, deans plugs, and some new ProLine wheels, with a new body coming soon. Just some advice though: If you drive through thicker stuff, like mud or other thick liquids, first place to wash has to be the rear corners of the body. Craploads of grass and such (snow recently) accumulates there. The Slash is an awsome truck! Hope you have fun!!

Haha I forgot how nice they looked new. If you drive anything like me it will have chassis scrathes in no time. But on the up side they are just about indestructible with my driving so far the only damage was when it slid under a moving taurus and got ran over. But it was like $30 in replacement parts so they are built pretty good. Congrats though hope you have alot of fun with it.

Just after 2 runs, the body is scratched up. Mostly the fenders from flipping it.

Scroll Up. See that stock Slash? BAM! Its gone. No more noob slash. My local race track has hardened my Slash. It is permanently scarred racing icon.
