monsterhunter 08-20-2008 02:02 AM

updates in about 2 days, not gonna be able to work on anything till friday maybe even saturday.

XmodzICON82 08-20-2008 04:32 PM

car looks good except the yellow streak across the hood....just a thought, if you plan on doing the engine you may want to touch up the paint in the engine bay to hide the white from the model's original color....but looks good none the less...keep up the good work...

amorton94 08-20-2008 06:59 PM

looks good, cant wait to see it finished

xmodzracer 08-20-2008 07:32 PM

what was the color off the car on the box? just curious.

monsterhunter 08-22-2008 07:35 PM

off the box the color of the car was blue with white stripes.

wadethejuggalo 08-22-2008 07:45 PM

one quick question when you add all those extenders does the chasis become really bendy and not as stiff or still stiff

the other time i had it, when i was doing another project, the chassis was sorta stiff sorta bendy, this time its very bendy so, im fabing up some to extend it and make it stiff

monsterhunter 08-26-2008 08:24 PM

lookin good the rear bumper reminds me of a ford mustang

monsterhunter 08-26-2008 08:57 PM

yea it does, i need to touch up a few areas around the rear bumper, and if the backround you can even see the chassis, in pieces.

monsterhunter 09-02-2008 12:53 AM

http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/c...IMG_0014-4.jpg
and just a little teaser of my plans for the board set up as of right now, just sitting there,.

xmodsnut 09-02-2008 01:01 AM

this is going to be interesting. moving the board is the easy part but what about the batteries and front steering servo there can be that much room under the hood.

monsterhunter 09-02-2008 01:09 AM

actually there is a enough room for the board and front end of the car, to fit under the hood, im thinking about switchin the batteries over to only running over 2 double As, or goin with liths, and they would be mounted behind the rear end.

xmodsnut 09-02-2008 01:41 AM

best bet is to go liths because of power loss with just the two AAs

monsterhunter 09-02-2008 01:53 AM

yea thats very true, and its a little easier to extend the wires all the way to the board also. and just in case you havn't figured it out yet. there will be no main chassis to this car. front and rear end will be attached to the body itself, but i will be using a rear clip on the rear end to change out motors if needed.
