How do you mount a Model body to a first gen Xmod?
 
Ello, Im trying to find out how to mount a Model body to a xmod first gen, i already have the tires on it, [witch actly looks nice=)] can anyone help?

lol, yeah i looked around and found Nothing about first gen xmods, its all about the evo Gen, so im hoping someone did do a modle body on a first gen and is willing to tell how they did it =)

some one posted idk where made a tutorial on how to extend the gen 1 chassis. I think it was on the xmods international forum not sure but i saw it either there or on this forum.

gen1's need to be cut up a TON to be lengthened. i can find you a tut though

Hm well atlest i can upgrade my truck body someday, but anyways its better to put a model body on a Evo Gen frame? man i wish a person could buy just that =/ oh well, thanks guys for the info!

[I dont want to Tear up my first gen xmod =/ maybe.. just maybe i can find a alterative.. maybe.. heh]

its a lot easier to put a model on a evo chassis yes.... i will find you a tut on how to lengthen a gen1 chassis (if there is one)

my advice would be to just play with it and make something from scratch. i got this 1965 ford hardtop model and made a body clip from the models floorboard and made a chassis clip from an f-150 clip and spare plastic. you can see where i took the plastic lug nut drivers and made an extension for the chassis clip.
