nice, they came out. $150 is too much for me..
|
Sure, why not.
|
$150 !!!!!!! My xmod is faster than 25 mph. maybe.. maybe worth a try if i hear some reviews on it
|
i dont think ill buy one. i like Xmods better than those things.i'd rather buy 3 Xmods instead
|
f@#k that crap!!! why its electric you can find an ok gas one for a little more than that, plus it stupid looking
|
.......Just look at the Xmod EVO's.
Everything past the gen1 is a mistake. Unless it is built of cabon fiber or aluminum, no way am I paying over $100 for anything that doesn't do at least 40. Later, RedSXmodder |
Yeah it looks cool if you want an outdoors off road RC car but lets be honest compared to Xmods it falls flat on its face! You cant tune it like an Xmod and 25mph sucks! Any Xmod could a Propuse on a straight track!

these come stock that fast |
I paid $100 to get it this fast. With the $40 extra, I think I'll go get a CXP aluminum chassis to go with it.
How 1/28 will kick 1/18 ***. 1. put a mamba in it. Thats all. |
um yes you can tune um rs will be selling upgrades just like they did for the xmods
DIRECTLY FROM RADIO SHACK SITE Race with precision. This Hobby Grade RC Racing Truck has high-quality parts for high performance. Reach speeds beyond 20mph with the fine-tuned motor and blow through tough terrain with the super-tough chassis with independent suspension. All parts are upgradeable with a variety of parts for added efficiency and performance. |
that looks like a pile of living *$$*

there supposed to be pretty nice. as far as an xmod beating 1/18th scale, you have to remember that an xmod going 25 is with lithiums and hot motors, and its pretty tough to handle at that speed. im sure people will be putting lipos and brushless in them, then they will go 60 like mamba'd mini-ts, and you will still be able to drive it. and there will be variuos upgrades, and a rumored twin-motor setup. they also come stock with oil filled shocks, an fm radio, and other nice stuff. off course an xmod will have a good chance at beating one in a straight line, on a smooth surface, but what if you put the xmod up against one on dirt track with jumps and the like? xmod gets dominated. they aren't the same type of vehicle as an xmod, so its like comparing apples to oranges.
*the picture on the radioshack website is a an Associated rc18t, painted green. the real one can be seen at propulse.com, and appears to be very similar. |

Stage 2 Engine- $17 Suspension- $8 Suspension Tuning- $17 Bearings- $20 RS Rechargeables- $25 Dean's 6/7 Cell- $12 _________________ Total- $139 + Plus having a good time putting it together! Pro-pulse- Priceless cause I ain't buyin one |
I dare any one of you to try to take your xmods rallying in the gravel/dirt....and have it last more than about 5 minutes, without some serious custom modification.
end of story. These aren't designed to be blazing fast in perfect conditions, they're to be very fast in almost any conditions. besides, oil-filled shocks....and a real battery pack. you will not ever find a well built, hobby-grade, upgradeable, RTR, 4WD R/C buggy for less than $150. (see the period?) |

its not supposed to be rock crawlers there made for dirt track racing, an i went an looked at them yesterday on the back of the box it says they will have ALUMINUM UPGRADES twin motor upgrades an motors but i was told there was gona be about 30 upgrades for them, an they come with oil filled shocks an bearings
|
Well, you do need the 7.2 v battery pack, so thats another $20-$30.

the propulse IS a smaller version of the bigger RC cars. |
id give em a shot.......just in case xmods disapear then I can get attached to other rc's similar to them :D
|
Mah boy just bought one of these i mean there fast as hell but he broke the front end the first day just by hittin a wall and every part cost twenty dollars to buy the twin motors are 50 if you have money to just spend on a lil rc that breaks easily then buy it because it does go fast as hell but if you dont stick to your xmod like me :) cheaper to make it go just as fast as the pro pulse
|
I have been eyeing these for about a week now.
