For the double-X sticker, try black background to blend it better. You can truly go gfx wild with a black or a white car since its easy to match background.

I did it like that on purpose. Its just like the 59 on the hood. I like it like this.

mini-z_drifter 12-26-2008 08:20 PM

JDMDUDE 12-28-2008 05:03 PM

60Kmh is 37mph. Again don't quote me, I don't feel like putting it on the speed checker right now, because it has no wheels on it. Ill check it later and post a pic with the reading.

TripleXmodder(akaXXX) 02-08-2009 09:16 PM

Well I have been working on my Mini-Z collection. I got 2 full running MR02s as of right now. I ordered some autoscale bodies so Ill post them up when they get here.

This is the same old MR02 but the chassis is a bit different and now is running a PN s04 motor w/ 2x3 FET stack and the PCB is brand new. New tierod and new bearings.
http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/j...y/guyit059.jpg
http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/j...y/guyit060.jpg

This MR02 is a stock class comp runner. (Not that I am racing in comps, lol) It has a 2x2 FET stack, Aluminum rear and front ends, Aluminum battery holders, Atomic damper, 18g superflex running to a Kyosho X-speed motor. Some aluminum Wheels as well.

http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/j...y/guyit062.jpg

Here is #3 getting built. She still needs some parts and I ordered a new Skeleton chassis for it. That will make way for MR02 #4 which will be complete soon as well but no photos of her, shes just a ziplock bag of parts.
http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/j...y/guyit063.jpg

I Also have 3 MR01's that are being fixed up, but I will just trade them out.

okoye 02-08-2009 09:52 PM

what you want for the mr01's?

Blackdragon 02-08-2009 11:21 PM

Nice collection there XXX, can't wait to see what you do with the one being rebuilt.

TripleXmodder(akaXXX) 02-08-2009 11:27 PM

Yeah thanks to you I have been able to get mine running and been able to rebuild a couple. I completely took the ones I got from you apart and was able to fix up mine and make 1 really good one (the 2nd 1 photo'd) Thanks for that.

torredo 02-08-2009 11:31 PM

just sick!!
all i have to say about this crazy machine!

nice work

Blackdragon 02-08-2009 11:49 PM

I noticed certain parts had been moved around but it looks really good the way you now have them set up and the pn motor is a beast. But good job and glad I was able to help. I will have the vette body mounted by the end of the week and that extra rsx body is sitting on the extra chassis you sent. I will post pictures of my projects so you can see what is going on with the stuff we traded.

TripleXmodder(akaXXX) 02-08-2009 11:56 PM

Cool, Make sure you setup that armeture in a motor can, it's a great arm. I just got that body (RSX) but didnt think I would use it anywhere. I did order some autoscale bodies for the mini-Zs. these are the ones I got ....

Good choices, I like the z body and the benz was one I thought about getting myself but I want the black version. Really can't wait to see what you do with the pan body.

TripleXmodder(akaXXX) 02-12-2009 01:12 AM

Got my Bodies. The Nissan is the MR02 w/ Lithium, The Maclarene is the MR02 Stock GPM and the Mercedes is a MR01. The Pan car is my MRCG.

The newest addition to the Mini-Z family.

AWD with my "home made" 3racing Subaru.

http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/j.../Cruise016.jpg
http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/j.../Cruise021.jpg

Some notes.

-The Lith MR02 (AMG Vodafone) has a 2x2 FET stack and is running a PN 03 motor. This car is so quick it's insane.

-The MR02 (McClaren) just got a new ATOMIC parts. Motor mount, Damper, Bearings, CF front arm stiffners. She has a 2x2 and running a Kyosho Xspeed. This car is very quick but has great control.

-The MR01 (FairladyZ) some aluminum but not much special except for the BA body.

-The AWD (Subaru) Has alot of stuff but Im not listing them right now. Picked her up from Bigez and the body from Spoontuner.

-MRCG, well no Mini-Z but I had to keep her with her girlfriends.

Nice cars! If you haven't already, go pick up some stainsteel kingpins and Kyosho fluorine oil for the MRCG; wide-offset front wheels put extra strain on the front suspension so the fluorine oil helps keep everything perfectly smooth. ;)

I know what you mean about the kingpins, I'll definatly get those. Are you talking about the kyosho fluorine powder for gears and stuff, but put it on the kingpins.

Skv012a 02-20-2009 04:39 PM

Very nice STI, X^3, haven't seen unique Zs here ina while.

Thanks, I wanna get the unpainted McClaren bodies for ALL of them for racing, but that will have to wait for now.

Ya Bigez, thanks for making my AWD a part of the family, Ive been wanting to add one even though Im pretty impartial to my MR02's.

color0 02-21-2009 01:09 AM

No, not the powder... Kyosho actually sells a "Fluorine Kingpin Oil". It's really good stuff, just drop some on your kingpins, roll it around and watch it evaporate, and do the same on your knuckles. It gives the sliding parts a nice coating of pure slipperiness.

Works on Xmods too, I imagine.

TripleXmodder(akaXXX) 02-21-2009 01:58 AM

Do you have a link for that, I haven't seen it and couldn't find it on google.
