oh my god, that is the most detailed z i've seen.
imo i think red and silver would look good as a 2 tone paintjob (top red, silver bottom)

Kaze 07-27-2008 08:40 PM

yea lol i thought about it after i painted the small pieces, they look so good lol but i must stay true and simple by using 1 tone, and a black top

stangdude94 07-27-2008 08:49 PM

are you going to make a mechanizim to open and cloze the the top

Kaze 07-27-2008 08:55 PM

uhh at the moment it's made to manually fold away and back out, I want to figure out later if I have time on how to make it do it automatically, if I figure that out, I might use the same concept as the Motorized winch for the trucks, cept instead it'd be for the top.... i have no experience with any of that though, thats why its manual fold.

stangdude94 07-28-2008 10:20 AM

o ok i was just wondering

Kaze 07-28-2008 04:59 PM

Lol yea trust me, i've been debating that one.... The chasis's is gonna be a lil complicated. I'd fabricate my own but idk where to get the materials for it. I'd just do a sheet of aluminum or somehting under the body instead of the chasis pan. something to give me space to put the batteries etc.

stangdude94 07-28-2008 05:23 PM

yeah ik what ya mean it would be complicating but u could do it

meme405 07-28-2008 06:06 PM

Its crazy... im at a loss for words on that roof, its sweet that its actually going to work...

CJModder 08-17-2008 07:40 PM

Oh man, a working top! That is trick as hell.

Kaze 01-01-2009 03:43 PM

Lancer_Man 01-01-2009 04:52 PM

Glad to see that you haven't given up yet! This has been a long project, and it is looking awesome. Keep it up. :)

Kaze 01-01-2009 04:57 PM

Questions and comments always welcome.

KITT222 03-19-2009 06:14 PM

that looks just AWSOME! you get it so it can drive without any issues now?

Kaze 03-19-2009 06:28 PM

my issue wasn't driving it Kitt, it was power supply which i'm still trying to get... I think I have it figured out though, using the two AA lith-ion cells in parallel should be safe for the Z board. 3.7V with crapload of mAh

XmodzICON82 03-19-2009 06:46 PM

that looks pretty **** sweet...i like how you have the interior with the front and rear chassis parts connecting to it...looking good, can't wait to see the final product....
