You've got the 4.7L in the Ricerado amirite?

I'm looking at the two ; 6.0L Single Cab short box / 6.0L Quad Cab short box for a new truck, and yes. I still have the Camry... Which infact, is half decent now. However, I am on a lead of an S-truck so don't worry about that part.

Oh, and paint your door jams. Geezush!

Scooby worth that $40,000.00? Yes or no?

WTF IS A 4.7? The Subaru belongs to my BFF. He paid like $36k for it, he just ordered a $16k engine that'll be at the beginning of June and he's about to start ordering the suspension so we can get to work before the engine arrives. The Suby has a blown engine...with only 8k miles. It was a nice car...hopefully it'll be a nicer car when we finish.

Blade. 05-04-2011 07:52 PM

Opps, sorry that is a Dodge engine..

You have the baby V8 though amirite?

That 16,000.00 engine better be worth it lol

suicide_star 05-04-2011 09:34 PM

Yep. It's got the 4.8, which is the smallest V-8 Chevy puts in the Silverado.

Ahh haha, I was close. lol. Was talking dodge when I posted that..

Was thinking of getting a Ram, however.. Don't feel like replacing the front end every 30,000kms.

Plus, I work at a GM Dealership now, so I'll probably get a discount on buying a truck through the company.

Got the roll pan molded in, the primer laid down, and most of the bodywork fixed. I couldn't repair everything, but for a budget project, it's good enough. Also primed the bumper because let's face it, chrome sucks. Anyways, pics...

Looks great, can't wait to see what else is in store.

suicide_star 06-12-2011 10:49 AM

Thanks, Blake =) This is what else is in store... My buddy came over and shot some flames on it. We sprayed white tru-flame in two layers over the black primer and mixed in oriental blue kandy concentrate into some intercoat clear and came up with the following: (truck still needs final clear and this paintjob is temporary)

In the future, it's going to need a new bed, as this one's had a lot of collision damage. Next projects are the headliner, bolting in the seats, exhaust, rear brakes, front shocks, and...all kinds of other stuff... O_o

supraboi97 06-12-2011 02:50 PM

I officially love this truck now, I have been watching the progress and its been looking great. But those flames simply look amazing. Very nice

Bananabrain 06-13-2011 05:09 PM

Flames really set it off.

Blade. 06-14-2011 12:44 AM

If you are going to auto cross this truck.. I personally, wouldn't bother replacing it. It'll get damaged/dinged no matter what. Even in a parking lot. A lot of moronic drivers out there who would prefer to hit and run instead of locating the owner of the vehicle.

Oh, and you would have to get your buddy to re-do the flames on the bed again..

Get the inside of the box painted and the door jams/hood jams and I think it is done, exterior wise.. Oh, and perhaps move from the honey combs to some other rims?:o

TNT Customs 06-14-2011 05:57 AM

What the hell did you do it looks absoulutly gorgues man just leave it as it is now its perfect for what ever your gonna do with it

suicide_star 06-14-2011 05:52 PM

Looking for new rims, now. The hood is already black underneath...the inside of the bed is getting bedlinered, that's why it isn't painted. I'll finish the door jambs soon enough...

Blade. 06-14-2011 10:32 PM

Still thinking of a new bed...? You realize you will have to re-do the roll pan again.. Right?:bigwink:
